1. 2024 Pub lunch schedule
NOTE:- Pub lunches are held on the second Tuesday of every month except as noted below. Pub lunch venues are provisional and actual venue on any month will be published on the home page and in red on this page when confirmed.
May. Tuesday 14th. Orange Tree Hitchin.
June NO PUB LUNCH DUE TO PROBUS BREAK HARROGATE.
July Tuesday 9th. Rising Sun Potton.
August. Tuesday 13th. Raven, Hexton
September Tuesday 17th. Green Man Stanford. (NOTE:- 3rd Tuesday due to the Potters’ trip, see below)
October. Tuesday 8th. Orange Tree Baldock.
November. Tuesday 12th. Five Bells Henlow.

2. Social Activities

2.1 Friday 9th August 2024
Annual Joint President’s’ Outing. This will be a three hour cruise on the ‘John Bunyan’ Boat on the river Ouse in Bedford, with a Bedford Tour Guide.

Places are limited so please contact out President asap on his e-mail address if you wish to attend. The Cruise will start and finish at Bedford Priory Marina and will include a choice of lunches. Disabled facilities are available on the boat. Attendees will be provided with further details nearer the date.
2.3 Monday 10th to Friday 14th June
Annual Spring Break at the Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate. The holiday includes coach travel to and from Harrogate, four nights Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal, a sight seeing boat trip on the River Ouse in York and a visit to Beningborough Historic Hall and Gardens. Confirmed attendees please look out for e-mails with the payment details. Payment will be required in two parts, the first at the end of February and the second at the end of April.
THE OLD SWAN HOTEL, HARROGATE
2.3 Monday 2nd to Friday 6th September
September break to Potters’ Resort in Norfolk. Confirmed attendees will be notified of payment details by e-mail an initial deposit will be required at the beginning of February (TBA).
2.4 Sunday 15th December, Carol Concert at the Royal Albert Hall, London.
We will be attending the 7:30p.m. performance of this spectacular show for a notable start to the Christmas festivities. Confirmed attendees will be notified by e-mail and full payment will be required at the beginning of March.
