2023 Social Events

Derek and Judy continue to put together an excellent and exciting social calendar for this year. Below are our current Scheduled Events for the rest of this year.  Special events and notices in RED

NOTE:- Pub lunches are held on the second Tuesday of every month except for 12th September due to clash with Blechley Park visit, and December due to Christmas Lunch event. Pub lunch menu details and venues will be published on this page when arranged.

Tuesday 13th June, scheduled Probus pub lunch at The Rising Sun Pub in Potton. Click on the following link for the menus https://www.risingsunpotton.co.uk/special_menus/main%20menu.pdf Please send your menu choices to Peter Onion (email address in membership booklet) by 9:00 a.m. on Thursday 8th June to allow him time to submit them to the Pub on Thursday, as requested by the Landlord.  As usual, timing is 12:00 noon for service by 12:30.

Friday 7th July, Annual Probus BBQ at Ickwell Green, usual format will be followed.

Friday 21st July, Probus Cream Tea held by kind invitation of Pauleen and Phil Belsham

Wednesday 16th August, Presidents’ Outing, details to be confirmed

Tuesday 12th September, Outing to Bletchley Park – watch this space for details.

Wednesday 4th October, Cheese and Wine evening organised by the Ladies’ Probus Club.

Monday 11th December, Visit to the Thursford Christmas Spectacular.  We have reserved 50 places at this popular event.  Look out for further announcements with details of how to book this event.

Thursday 14th December, Annual Christmas Probus lunch attended by both Men’s and Ladies’ Clubs and special guests.

Sunday 17th December, Annual Wine and Mince Pies event organised by the Ladies’ Probus Club which will be held, as usual, in the Bowls Pavillion.
