We visited the old Wren Davis dairy farm on a lovely August afternoon. The farm is run organically and now breeds cows for beef and rare pigs who all thrive in an outdoor life. We enjoyed a ride around the farm in a tractor drawn trailer and ended a happy visit with tea in the old threshing barn.

 

We continue with our monthly programme of speakers with a presentation in November about Dementia UK and the work of the Admiral nurses and then our Christmas lunch when we shall be entertained by a Ukele group. We already have a full list of speakers for 2024 and look forward to a variety of visits and outings.
