Probus Club of Salisbury

Welcome to our Club Page

The club meets on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each calendar month from 10.00am until 12 noon at the Mercure White Hart Hotel, 1 St John’s St, Salisbury, SP1 2SD.

Our Annual General Meeting is held on the 3rd Friday in July.

Formed in 1983, the Probus Club of Salisbury has members who have wholly or partly retired from a wide range of professional and business backgrounds. Its aim is to provide and maintain good-humoured and stimulating friendships and to take a personal interest in the welfare of its members and their families.

Meetings include guest speakers who cover a wide range of interesting subjects.

From time to time the club organises visits by members and friends to historic and other locations in the area.

At Christmas and in mid-summer, a luncheon is organised locally for members, their wives and guests.

New members, whilst very welcome, require the sponsorship of an existing member and must attend at least two meetings. For more information about the club and its membership, please contact the club secretary at:-

NOTE: There is another Salisbury based Probus Club, namely Sarum Probus, which is a completely separate club and not associated with the Probus Club of Salisbury.
