At the June 2025 meeting of Probus High Wycombe the members were joined by Heather Stanley, The Fundraising & Marketing Manager of Wycombe Homeless Connection.  She gave a short presentation on the work of the charity, which includes assisting those in the High Wycombe and South Buckinghamshire area who are in need with Emergency accommodation: emergency food & clothing, give free legal advice, assistance with various application processes and who are also part of the Night Shelter initiative. A cheque was presented to Heather, by the President Jim May, for £250 in support of the ongoing work. This had been collected by members during the previous year as part of their ongoing support of local charities. Heather thanked everyone for the gift and emphasised the charities work in support of those effected by these situations, greatly depends upon voluntary donations.
