Probus Clubs were first established in the United Kingdom in 1965 and are an association of retired and semi-retired professional and business people who meet regularly to listen to a speaker and for social interaction.

Probus Clubs provide an opportunity to make new friends, enjoy conversation and share diverse interests and experiences, but are not engaged in fundraising.

Bon Accord Ladies Probus Club was established in 1993. The club meets on the second Wednesday of the month between September and June at the Broomhill Activity Centre, 197 Broomhill Road, Aberdeen. Members meet for coffee at 10am and the meeting begins at 10.30am with the talk from a visiting speaker.
