If you enjoy a good meal and interesting conversation, perhaps you might like to consider joining the Appleby Probus club.

A Probus club is a local association of retired and semi-retired professional and business people that meets monthly for lunch and fellowship. The Appleby Club is strictly non-political, non-denominational, gender-neutral, and does not raise funds. It is currently seeking new members!

You might also like to know that the club also runs occasional outings such as trips to the theatre or sporting events. As an example, we recently visited the Carlisle Airport museum.
