Brooklands Air and Transport Museum.
Wed 25th April.
£45 Coach from Sandylands
It was the original home of motor racing with its famous banked circuit. There are various racing cars of many vintages on display.
It was where many of Vickers aircraft were manufactured from the WW1 Vickers Vimy through to Concorde and there is the opportunity to go onboard many of them.
There is a comprehensive display of London buses through the ages.
Much is under cover so we shouldn’t be too troubled by inclement weather
There is of course plenty of choice of refreshments on site.
Overall this is a good opportunity to enjoy one of the country’s premier air and transport museums.
As this is the 60th year since Probus was founded we have managed to secure a discount of about 25% below the price you would pay on the door.
At this stage we expect to leave Ashford about 9.30 and spend about 11 till 3 at Brookland and returning about 5.
We expect that the price including Coach from Ashford and entry will be about £45.
The exact figure will be dependent on the numbers who go- more people, lower price!
