We meet weekly each Thursday with the first Thursday of the month reserved for a visiting speaker We do not pay the speaker but we do have a collection for a charity of the Speakers choice also the Speaker is invited to join us at our monthly lunch free of charge which is held on the third Thursday of each month

Once each year we have a more formal lunch at a local prestigious venue to which we invite members wives and partners and ladies from the local Scunthorpe Probus 78 ladies circle along with widows of our members.

We have Probus Holidays and Outings on an annual basis. In 2017 our Main Holiday was to the Hampshire town of Emsworth. During our stay we visited the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, Beaulieu Motor Museum, Exbury Gardens, the city of Chichester and the Weald and Downland Museum, an excellent hotel and a holiday full of interest enjoyed by all. During our Day Outings in 2017 we had a visit to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford and a trip on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway from Pickering to Whitby
